I had decided to take my sister down to San Diego one weekend. Not familiar with the area at all, we just drove down South I-5. We eventually made our way to Balboa Park in San Diego. The area in itself is a sight to see. It is so beautiful but the atmosphere is not comparable to Los Angeles. It is just remarkable to be able to go travel to different parts of California and feel like you're in a different part of the world.
I ended up wearing a floral dress from Urban Outfitters with a denim jacket on top. I paired this combo with my trusty converse. The exhibits in Balboa Park is so beautiful. With the copious amount of things to see it is a day trip by itself. However, we just decided to scope around and visit the Rose Garden to Lily Pads.
At the end of our journey, we ended up eating Gelato and walking on the beach of La Jolla. It was a beautiful way to end the day in San Diego.
